📖 Overview
The Combined Arms Battalion is the premier naval and armoured warfare unit of the Legionary Vostannia, acclaimed for its dominance in naval engagements and armoured combat. In addition to its core strengths, CAB maintains specialised subdivisions that provide critical aircraft and infantry support, ensuring operational versatility across all combat environments.
CAB provides fire and armoured support to other divisions and the main Legion force when necessary, cementing its role as the backbone of Legionary Vostannia's combined-arms doctrine.
⚔️ Origins
The Combined Arms Battalion was formed as a merging of Khorn and 7th SPAR — the Legionary Vostannia's previous naval and armoured units respectively. This merger unified expertise in artillery, tank combat, naval strategy, gunnery, and aerial operations under a single command, creating a force capable of winning battles on land and at sea.
🏆 Notable Achievements
Over its operational history, CAB has accumulated a record of engagements that few battalions can match. The following are among the most significant victories and contributions.
One of CAB's defining naval engagements — the seizure of the enemy flagship Giga-Pablo, demonstrating CAB's mastery of naval boarding and fleet command.
CAB won the official MTC4 tournament, most notably defeating MONOLITH — a super-faction assembled specifically to be undefeated, made up of MTC Aces who had left their own factions to form it. Monolith was shortly disbanded following the defeat. CAB walked away with over 30,000 Robux in prize winnings.
At the time, Angels Inc. was considered one of the strongest factions in MTC4 — if not the strongest. CAB's victory over them was a watershed moment establishing CAB's reputation at the top tier of armoured combat.
CAB has become the leading cause of faction collapses in the MTC World Sims — the preferred term internally being "rapid unscheduled disassembly". Multiple factions have folded following sustained engagements with CAB.
CAB secured victories against SEA Military in multiple minor skirmishes and, decisively, in a major 100 vs 100 engagement on 1 August 2023.
CAB engaged and defeated the 3rd Noob Division across multiple engagements in both Multicrew Tank Combat 4 and Dead Ahead, demonstrating cross-platform operational capability.
CAB defeated Plastic Scot on Trident Battlegrounds 3 and made a significant contribution during the D-Day scenario — one of the more demanding combined-arms operations in the game mode.
Iron Eagles were considered the best faction in Dead Ahead at the time. CAB put up significant resistance against them — a result that earned respect across the Dead Ahead community.
CAB was a major contributor to multiple Starscape Incursions following the original incursion in Main CL, operating alongside KSP — a faction led by former CL members — in coordinated cross-faction operations.
