Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how all of @russiancatmaid's bots handle information encountered during their operation. I am committed to being straightforward: the Bot does not collect, store, or sell personal data beyond what is strictly necessary to function.
2. Information Received
When you interact with the Bot, Discord automatically provides certain information as part of its API. This may include:
- Your Discord user ID and username
- The server (guild) ID and channel ID where the interaction occurred
- The content of messages or commands directed at the Bot
- Timestamps of interactions
This information is received only at the moment of interaction. It is not collected by me — it is transmitted by Discord's platform as part of normal bot operation.
3. Data Storage
The Bot does not maintain a persistent database of user information. Interaction data is processed in memory to generate a response and is not retained after the interaction concludes. No user profiles, logs, or records are stored by me.
Any configuration data stored (such as server settings) is limited to server IDs and relevant preferences, and contains no personally identifiable information.
4. What I Do Not Do
I do not:
- Sell, rent, or trade any information to third parties
- Build profiles of individual users
- Track behaviour across servers or over time
- Share data with advertisers or analytics platforms
- Store message content beyond the duration of a command interaction
5. Discord's Role
The Bot operates through Discord's platform. Discord independently collects and processes data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. I have no control over Discord's data practices. I encourage you to review Discord's Privacy Policy to understand how your data is handled at the platform level.
6. Your Rights
Because the Bot does not store personal data, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete on my end. If you have concerns about data held by Discord itself, please refer to Discord's support and privacy tools directly.
If you believe I have inadvertently retained data I should not have, contact me and I will address it promptly.
7. Security
I take reasonable precautions to ensure the Bot operates securely. However, no system is entirely immune to risk. Given that I do not store personal data, the exposure from any security incident is minimal.
8. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
